Knitting patterns
Our blog started its life as Dots & Yarn. While life has has been full, wonderful, and challenging, we’ve not been able to dedicate as much time to our little Dots & Yarn business endeavour (patters, made-to-order baby knits, etc.), but we still want to make some of our knitting patterns available for you to download for free.
Here they are:
Rafi Hoodie
The name Rafi is of Arabic origin, and its meaning is „holding high“ or „servant of the exalted one“. We designed this baby cardigan for our friend’s baby son, Rafi, who was born in late December 2008.

Pletzer Cable Jumper
We all love our local yarn and crafts materials stores. Frau Pletzer’s yarn shop in Munster (Germany) has been around for a very long time – long before knitting became fashionable again in this millennium!
Frau Pletzer not only sells beautiful knitting and crochet yarn, she also designs jumpers, cardigans, jackets, and other pieces, and often doesn’t charge for these if you buy the yarn from her. This Pletzer Cable Jumper is such a model, which she kindly allowed us to write up in English and German, and make available to you on our blog.
